Time has seriously flown by! It definitely does not feel like a whole year has gone by since this moment...
Kensington has completely completed our little family. She is such a little pistol yet such a sweetheart at the same time. I love you baby girl!
On June 23rd we celebrated Kensie's first birthday with a Carnival themed party. Tons of candy and cake and holy cow did she love the cake! Most of it was made by me but I will be sure to let you all know where everything came from! All of the photos were taken by my dear friend LeAnn from Pure
Photography. We have been friends for about 18 years and am so blessed
to have her as a part of my life. A lot of the ideas and decor was also
done in huge part by her sister Ashley who is also a dear dear friend.

This little love is such a ham! We pulled out the camera and our phones and she was busting moves left and right! Her shirt was bought from Target and I added the light pink fabric frame with the black wording on the front. Her pants came from
Legacy Design Shop.
This was the main focal area with all of the food. The banner is
Instagram pictures of Kensie from every month. I saw this idea on
Pinterest and fell in love with it. I also made the tissue paper tassel garland as well.
I'm a little obsessed with chalkboards at the moment so I made sure I found creative festive ways to decorate all of them! I cut out circle pieces of cardstock and sewed them together to make the confetti garland and I also made all of the accordian wreaths in the top photo.
This girl DEVOURED her cake! I was really expecting some serious tummy issues after this but she was a trooper! The cakes were made from The Cake Shop in my town. I was AMAZED at how they turned out!
