Loving Prints

I love the way that a simple art print can add so much to a room. I have to say that I am going a little overboard with art for Kaydence's room. :) These are some of my recent purchases.

Such a simple statement but yet so fun!

This line comes from a line of one of my favorite songs, so I couldn't resist!
This little lovely resides in my Family/Craft Area.  It reminds me everyday to be filled with joy!

Have you found any fun prints lately that brighten up a room in your home? I'd love to hear about them!!

Vintage Carnival Bridal Shower Inspiration Board

My sister-in-law has finally met an amazing man! She definitely had to kiss a few frogs to find him but the wait was well worth it! I have the honor of throwing her bridal shower at the beginning of July. She is having a vintage carnival themed wedding and we will carry that theme throughout the shower as well. Needless to say I've been doing a lot of researching for inspiration to make this the cutest bridal shower ever! :) Here are some great inspirations that I have found!

I'm in love with the cotton candy in the glasses...so cute! I'll definitely be doing a lot more research and try to make this a fun yet classy vintage carnival shower.

Lay Baby Lay

Have you all seen the website Lay Baby Lay?  If you haven't, you have to head over there now!  I'll wait......

Ok, now that you're drooling I'll show you a few of my favorites.  If you didn't look yet, this will make you want to!

The one above is from her daughter's nursery...to die for!!!

The colors in this one remind me of Kaydence's room...I may be redecorating a bit after seeing this :)

 ok...the crib...need I say more!

I love these five all SO much.  The colors are so refreshing...I wouldn't mind having a lot of this in my home!  I want to start painting the room that used to be my craft room in preparation for baby number 2, but since we aren't trying to get pregnant til the fall...I have some time :)  Love looking at these for inspiration though!  Enjoy!

Mother's Day Dinner

My mom is one if the single most special people in my life.  Not only is she my mother, I can truly say that she is my best friend.  I was honored to make dinner for her and my step dad tonight (it's his birthday tomorrow) so I thought I'd share my basic, yet inviting table setting.

I love this table cloth that I got just yesterday at a little flea market in a nearby town.  Again, the red and turquoise...LOVE!
Putting fresh sprigs of Rosemary in blue mason jars added the perfect simple touch to the table.  We had Rosemary Shrimp Scampi so it was nice to have that little extra fragrance.
It was all delicious and I loved being able to do this for my mom. I love you Mom!!
